2018, Aura. Through clippings from specialized magazines I seek to appropriate the faces, destroying and reconfiguring them I create individuals with shared identities. Current culture has destroyed identity, through social networks everything is shared, everything is plagiarized; it is very complicated to create one's own speech inside a 'virtual world' where 'everything' has already been created, where 'everything' already exists. Not to say that identity is being abolished and it is increasingly difficult to know if what you like and do is for you or for what others expect of you. Authenticity is constantly blurred. The boundaries between the personal and the public are blurred and we have created an imaginary global and shared that makes it difficult to find authorship and personality, and we don't know where our person begins and the other's personality ends, and it is within this discourse that I work on these collages, looking for shared identities.
